01

We Were Monsters

Jacqueline is a psychiatrist in supernatural research at The Institution, a mysterious organization of clinicians dedicated to exploring the unliving world. Lacy is a vampire and a prisoner of her care, burdened with a choice: Tell her story and earn her freedom or bite her tongue and wait for her captor to die from the cancer poisoning her blood. With each passing day Jacqueline’s tortures grow more extreme and the price of staying silent grows steeper. When Jacqueline threatens to turn her torture on the auburn-haired, bright-eyed, Caed—Lacy’s longtime paramour and accomplice in crime—she begins to talk, and the tale she weaves is one marred by tragedy and marked in blood. From the gallows of Salem to the wild, western reaches of Tombstone, Arizona, Lacy weaves a tale of love and loss in a world where the greatest monsters are not the shadows that go bump in the night, but the people we know best.

Diary of a Teenage Monster Hunter

Emily is a teenage monster hunter. Her greatest fear should be a gruesome, bloody death at the hands of a zombie. Newsflash, it's not. The worst terror she can imagine is being cast in her high school's fall production of Our Town alongside her arch nemesis Felix. Felix is everything she's not. He's clever, sharp-tongued, and popular. He's also dashingly handsome and, though Emily has no way to prove it, most definitely a vampire. When Emily stumbles across an amulet in her mother's antique shop with the power to make her every wish come true, she wishes for a life like his. Classmates value her opinion, teachers take her word as gold, and boys break their necks to catch a glimpse of her in the hallway. But Emily soon learns every wish has a cost and hers just might cost Felix his life if she can't find a way to reverse it and soon.

The Bride

Bow is a creation of Victor Frankenstein's mad imagination, a woman dragged from the brink of death and resurrected as a gift for his monstrous creation. But what is Bow's story? And how did she find herself on Victor's operating table? Her memories are a hazy blur, but with each passing day her determination to untangle the dark web of her past grows. And so too, does her curiosity. Frankenstein's monster, she soon learns, is anything but a monster. In fact, he's quite charming. And it isn't long before she finds herself inextricably drawn to his gentle voice and quiet strength. Together, they embark on a journey of self-discovery, carving their initials on London's seedy streets, alongside the likes of Lucy Westerna, Elizabeth Lavensa, and Henry Jekyll. All of whom hide secrets, all of whom chase wicked passions. But what monstrous truths lurk in the shadows? And what dastardly horrors hide in Bow's heart?
